Battery – Cited

2400 15th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that the suspect, a housemate, barged into his bedroom when his knock went unanswered because the suspect was with his girlfriend. The victim attempted to push the suspect out but was punched in the face. The suspect then left the house but was cited when he returned later. 

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

West Portal Ave & Sloat Blvd
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle impeding traffic by unloading several passengers in a lane of traffic with multiple vehicles unable to move while behind him. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Search Warrant – Heroin Offense – Methamphetamine Offense – Arrested

Officers conducted a search warrant on a suspect’s house which revealed heroin and methamphetamine in the living room. A computer check also confirmed that there was a warrant for her arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Violation of Stay Away Order – Arrested

200 Monticello St
Officers responded to a report of a stay away order violation. The victim reported that she was asleep in the middle of the night but was woken up by noises near the front of her stairs. When she went to investigate, she discovered that the suspect was sleeping there. Responding officers located the suspect and arrested him after confirming the stay away order.

Vehicle Tampering – Burglary Tools- Cited

1600 Great Hwy
Officers responded to a report of a victim of a vehicle burglary detaining a suspect.  The victim reported that despite having locked his vehicle, he returned and observed that the roof’s cargo hauler was open and the items inside had been moved around. When the victim walked closer to this vehicle, he saw that the suspect was inside the rear seat of his vehicle and confronted him. The suspect attempted to flee but the victim detained him. Responding officers searched the suspect and located a window punch in the suspect’s pocket. After further investigation, the suspect was later cited.

Threats – Arrested

Officers responded to a fight between family members. The victim reported that the suspect, the daughter, wanted money to purchased an item but the victim, the mother, did not have more than $10 to give her. The suspect became argumentative and angrily put her hands around the suspect’s neck before picking up a knife and threatening to harm the victim. Responding officers arrived and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested. 

 

Battery – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a domestic dispute. The victim reported that she and the suspect had an dispute which escalated to an argument. During the argument, the suspect grabbed the victim’s neck and slapped her. After further investigation and a computer that revealed an arrest warrant, the suspect was arrested.
