Vehicle Burglary – Probation Violation – Arrested

26th Ave & Lincoln Way
Officers responded to a report of an auto burglary. The victim reported that he was alerted of suspicious activity outside by the barking of his dog. When the victim went to investigate, he observed the suspect inside his vehicle. The victim went to confront the suspect but the suspect noticed and immediately started walking away. Responding officers located the suspect and observed that the area near the suspect contained several items belonging to the victim. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he was on probation. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested

Traffic Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle without a rear license plate or any paperwork stating that the vehicle was recently purchased. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Battery – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a couple in a fight. The suspect stated that he and the victim had been fighting all day when the victim suddenly took his phone, which was laying on the table. The suspect pushed the victim to get her phone back.  The victim stated that the suspect had been recording the discussion that they were having and the victim suspiciously grabbed the phone to see why the conversation was being recorded. The victim took the phone and ran but the suspect caught her and pushed her before retrieving his phone. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a brandishing of a firearm. The victim reported that she was cut off by another vehicle and angrily honked her horn at it before making offensive gestures at the other driver. The other vehicle suddenly stopped next to her and pointed a firearm at her before driving off.
