Traffic Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle that had initially stopped due to traffic but then backed up for over two blocks to maneuver out of the traffic. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Officers responded to a report of an argument. The victim stated that she wanted to press charges against the suspect, her landlord’s son, had pushed her before spitting on her. However, after further investigation, the incident appeared to be unsubstantiated and was documented.

Under the Influence of Alcohol – Resisting Police – Arrested

300 West Portal Ave
Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated female. The witness reported that the suspect was observed stumbling around the street and grabbing people. The suspect was also seen in the middle of the street trying to get into other people’s vehicles and narrowing being hit by passing cars. Responding officers detained the suspect, despite several attempts to evade the officers. The suspect also refused to provide her identity to the officers. The officers arrested the suspect and determined her identity at county jail.

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle driving 52 mph in a 35 mph zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Forged Prescription – Identity Theft – Arrested
200 West Portal Ave

Officers responded to a report of a person using a fake prescription to buy medication. The witness reported that the suspect had attempted to pass off the fake prescription at another location but was unsuccessful. The suspect then entered the second store and again attempted to obtain medication.  The witness stated that she filled the prescription but told the suspect to come back before calling the police. Responding officers arrived on scene and located the suspect. A computer check revealed that the suspect had been arrested several times previously for the same offense. The suspect was arrested.
