Vandalism – Resisting – Arrested

100 Terrace Dr
Officers responded to a report of a report of a loud argument followed by possible shots being fired. The witness reported that she heard a loud argument and when she went to investigate, she observed the suspect hitting numerous cars with a stick.

Responding officers arrived on scene and heard a loud argument. As the officers approached, the suspect immediately attempted to flee the location while throwing two large sticks to the ground. The officers detained the suspect. When questioned, the suspect stated that he had been drinking at a baseball game earlier and came home to an argument with his father. The caused the suspect to become angry and he started hitting his vehicle with a stick. The suspect reported that he then blacked out and was unaware of anything else that might have happened. After further investigation, it was observed that there were at least three nearby vehicles that had their windows and headlights shattered. The suspect was arrested.

Traffic Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

19th Ave & Buckingham Way
Officers observed a vehicle traveling at 51 mph in a 35 mph zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the vehicle revealed that the driver’s license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Trespassing – Arrested

700 Gonzalez Dr
Officers responded to a report of a suspect masturbating in a public computer room. Officers arrived on scene and detained the suspect. The witness, a security agent, told the officers that the suspect was known to them and had been arrested previously for trespassing. The suspect does not live in the area. The suspect was arrested.

Arson
9:50 pm
2400 38th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a fire. The witness stated that a roommate had move out a couple days ago. The roommate returned earlier and afterwards, he saw that there was a cardboard box placed close to the side of the house that was on fire. 

Battery
9:32 pm
1200 43rd Ave
Officers respond to a report of a battery. The victim reported that she requested a ride from Uber but at their final location, the driver stopped and told the victim that she still owed him money before slapping her. The victim exited the vehicle and called the police immediately afterwards. Responding officers investigated the incident and determined that the original ride from Uber had been cancelled. The victim was uncertain if the vehicle she entered was a legitimate Uber vehicle.
