Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol – Traffic Violation – Arrested

Officers responded to a well being check. Officers arrived on scene and observed that a vehicle was blocking a lane of traffic and the driver was hunched over behind the steering wheel with a witness knocking on the window and trying to wake the driver up. The officers spoke to the driver and smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the driver’s breath. Officers conducted a field sobriety test, which the driver failed. The driver conducted a breath test which revealed he was over the limit. The driver was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a domestic violence incident. The witness reported that she had received a text from her cousin which stated that he had just been bitten. 

Upon questioning, Party 1 stated that he had received a text message from an unknown person which aroused Party 2 to jealously and an argument ensued. During the argument, Party 2 pushed and bit Party 1 and while Party 1 was trying to leave the house, Party 2 punched him.  However, Party 2 responded that Party 1 received an email and then suddenly pushed him to the ground. An argument ensued and Party 1 hit Party 2 over the head with a chair. 

Officers investigated the incident and determined that both parties had committed a crime.  They were both arrested.

Burglary – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of an attempted burglary incident. The witness reported that she was at home and looked across the street and observed the suspect walking on the street before stopping in front of a garage door that was opened two to four inches. The suspect was then seen to force the garage door up so that he could slip inside. Responding officers arrived just as the garage door was closing and made entry into the garage area. The suspect was located and stated that he was visiting his girlfriend. However, the statement was determined to be false. A computer check on the suspect revealed a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of someone crying in the middle of the street. Upon questioning, the victim reported that they were walking when they were suddenly approached by three suspects. One suspect brandished a knife and said something unintelligible to the victim and then the victim pushed to the ground before being hit by the suspects. The suspects then stole the victim’s property and fled the area.

Officers responded to a report of a road rage incident. The victim reported that she was driving when she was suddenly approached by another vehicle. The other driver  proceeded to drive very close to her while the driver started screaming and waving his hands around. The driver then stopped in the middle of the intersection and approached the victim’s vehicle while holding a closed pocket knife. The driver made a comment to the victim and then drove away without further incident.

Officer responded to a report of a fight at a location that they had already responded to earlier in the evening. Despite the officers abating an argument between family members at the location earlier, the victim reported that her father was called a derogatory name by the suspect (her brother in law). The suspect then pushed the victim, causing her to fall to the ground and hit her head. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
