Violation of Restraining Order – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a restraining order violation. The victim stated that he has an arrangement forbidding the suspect, his ex wife, to enter a house without him being there. The victim called the police saying that the suspect had been there and was staying there against his will. After confirming the restraining order, the suspect was located and arrested.
Vandalism – Trespassing – Arrested

500 Garfield St
Officers responded to a report of vandalism and trespassing. Officers arrived on scene and located a known suspect. The suspect told the police that he had used meth and became very paranoid, which caused him to run into a nearby house. Previously, the suspect had been arrested 8 times for the same offense. The suspect was arrested.
Traffic Violation – Suspended License – Cited

Officers observed a vehicle with a tail light that was not working. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.
Assault

1200 23rd Ave
Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim reported that he was returning home when he observed the suspect’s dog defecating on the sidewalk nearby. The victim stated that he reminded the suspect to clean up after his dog which caused the suspect to angrily pick up the dog feces before yelling and pushing at the victim. The victim stumbled and fell on to the ground, bumping his head. The suspect then threw the bag of feces on to the victim’s property and walked away.
