Violation of Restraining Order

Officers responded to a report of a restraining order violation. The victims reported that in a violation of a restraining order, the suspect walked by their home but did not make eye contact or stop. The suspect was no longer in the area when officers arrived.
Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Lincoln Way & 9th Ave
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle that was double parked and impeding the flow of traffic. Shortly after, the driver noticed the officers nearby and immediately got into their vehicle and drove away. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check revealed that the driver had been cited three times previously and his license was currently suspended. The driver was cited and his vehicle was towed.

Officers responded to a known homeless suspect who was camping out in front of a driveway on private property. The officers arrived and observed numerous bags and property belonging to the suspect spread about on private property. The officers cited the suspect and offered information, referrals and help but the suspect refused assistance.
