Violation of Restraining Order – Arrested
7:12 pm
21St Ave & Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a restraining order violation. Responding officers arrived and located a known suspect holding a metal stick. After reviewing and confirming the restraining order, the suspect was arrested. 

Battery – Arrested
11:25 am
600 Holloway Ave
Officers responded to a possible domestic incident of battery. The victim reported that he was out with a friend when the suspect, an ex-girlfriend, decided to spend the night at his place. When the suspect learned that the victim was not home and out with someone else, she became very upset and broke the door when the victim was trying to drive away. Later, when the victim returned home, the suspect was still present and an argument ensued. During the argument, the suspect flailed her arms, hitting the victim in the face. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Assault

19th Ave & Irving St
Officer responded to a report of an assault. The victim reported that he was homeless and often spent time drinking with several other homeless people in the area without incident. This time, however, the suspect hit the victim’s head with a hammer. The officers requested an ambulance for the victim for medical treatment but once at the hospital, the victim refused treatment and walked away without further explanation.

 

Trespassing

100 Victoria St
Officers responded to a report of a trespasser. Responding officers searched and located the suspect. Upon questioning, the suspect stated that he was a trustee for the property. However, the victim responded that he was the current and legal owner of the property but he and the suspect had been fighting for ownership in court. The victim was able to present paperwork to prove his ownership for inspection. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Vandalism to Property – Arrested

4100 Irving St
Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress with the victims currently detaining the suspect. The victim stated that the suspect had requested entry but pounded on the door so hard that the glass shattered. The suspect was also heard saying that the “cartel was after him” while he was hitting the door. After the suspect broke the door and was inside, the victims detained him before calling the police. After further investigation, the suspect was later arrested.

The victim entered Taraval station to report a battery. The victim reported that he had hired a contractor, the suspect, to fix his house. When the victim returned, he discovered that the locks on the house had been changed and angrily flung the suspect’s tools around. The suspect responded by grabbing the victim by his neck and throwing him to the ground. Responding officers spoke to the suspect, who responded that he did not know who the suspect was because he mainly spoke with the victim’s wife. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.
