Robbery

100 Head St
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim stated that she was exiting her house when the suspect approached and attempted to steal her purse. When the victim refused to release her purse, the suspect produced a firearm and pointed it at her. Fearfully, the victim released her purse and the suspect fled the area with the stolen property. 

Battery

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated that she was smoking in her room when the suspect, her mother, discovered her and hit her on the a head several times. The suspect responded that she confronted the victim about smoking and an argument ensued. During the argument, the victim threw a package of cigarettes at her and the suspect hit the victim’s arm twice. Both parties declined to press charges. 

Robbery of a Chain Store

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim stated that the suspect was observed stealing merchandise off the store’s shelves. However, when confronted, the suspect pushed the victim to the ground before immediately fleeing the store with the stolen items. 

 

Robbery of a store – Arrested

1800 Irving St
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that the suspect entered the store and requested to buy a new iPhone for $60.00. The suspect was told that an iPhone cost more than $60.00 and that he would need more money to purchase one. The suspect angrily yelled at the victim and suddenly snatched the iPhone out of the victim’s hands, causing injuries to the victim. Responding officers located and detained the suspect. Further investigation revealed that the suspect was on probation for theft. The suspect was arrested.
