Traffic Violation – No Driver’s License – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

19th Ave & Sargent St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle traveling north on the southbound lane of traffic. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he had a warrant for his arrest and that he also did not have a driver’s license. The driver was arrested.

Battery- Cited

1200 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that she was with her son at McCoppin Playground when the suspect walked up to her and suddenly punched her on her head before walking away. Responding officers located the suspect with the help of several witnesses and detained him. The suspect was observed to be paranoid and was talking constantly to himself. The suspect was cited for battery and taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation.  

Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License – Cited

Taraval St & Sunset Blvd
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle making a left turn at an intersection that prohibited no left turns. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that the driver was never issued a driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Battery
4:36 pm
1200 23rd Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that her daughter came home intoxicated and an argument ensued when the victim attempted to help the suspect but was punched by the suspect. The suspect responded that the victim invaded her privacy and wouldn’t leave the room until she was physically pushed out. The suspect stated that she slammed the door closed on the victim. After further investigation,  the suspect was cited.

Vehicle Collision – Hit And Run

Officers responded to a report of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian. Responding officers arrived on scene and determined that the vehicle had already fled the vicinity of the accident and that the pedestrian was deceased. This incident will be investigated by TCIU.
