Counterfeit Money – Defrauding

100 Cambon Dr
Officers responded to a report of a verbal argument. The victim, who was delivering food, reported that she did not get a response after ringing a doorbell at the provided address. After calling the number associated with the food order, the suspect responded that she would be right there to pick up the food. However, the suspect walked up to the victim from the street instead of inside the building. The suspect presented a $100 for the bill, which the victim exchanged for the food and change. Shortly afterwards, the victim looked closer and realized that the $100 was counterfeit.

15th Ave & Taraval St
An officer responded to a report of a suspect who was aggressively swinging a mop around. The responding officer located the suspect, who was known from previous incidents and prohibited from being in possession of any type of stick, holding on to a metal pole. The suspect then got on to a LRV, which the officer followed until it’s next stop and arrested the suspect.

Elder Abuse – Robbery – Arrested

200 Gonzalez Dr
Previously, officers responded to a report of a son forcing his mother to give him money, while she was hiding from him in a locked bathroom. Today, the officers responded back to the location in search of the suspect and made contact with him. After questioning about the previous incident, the suspect gave an inconsistent statement to the officers. After further investigation, the suspect was later arrested.

 

Traffic Violation – No Driver’s License – Cited

Brighton Ave & Ocean Ave
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle which failed to make an attempt to slow down or stop at a posted stop sign. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he did not have a driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle making an illegal left turn. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check revealed that the driver did not have a driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Traffic Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Plymouth Ave & Broad St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle that failed to make a complete stop before making a right turn. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check revealed that the driver had a suspended driver’s license and no insurance. The driver was cited.
