Traffic Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Brotherhood Way & Arch St
An officer was conducting speed enforcement when he observed a vehicle traveling 54 mph in a 35 mph zone. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that her license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Driving While Intoxicated

Lake Merced Blvd & Brotherhood Way
Officers responded to a report of a single vehicle accident. Upon arrival, the officers observed that the vehicle had struck a light pole. A witness reported that the vehicle was observed swerving between several lanes before hitting the pole. The witness helped the driver out of the vehicle and smelled a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from the driver’s breath and body. The driver submitted to a breath test and a field sobriety test, which the driver failed. After further investigation, the driver was later arrested.

LA Playa St & Judah St
Officers responded to a domestic dispute. The victim reported that she and the suspect, her boyfriend, had engaged in a heated verbal argument earlier and she walked out of the building to call the police. The suspect also walked out of the building but locked the door and took her keys with him. The suspect also attempted to take the victim’s cell phone after finding out that she had called the police. The suspect chased after the victim and ripped her shirt after grabbing it forcefully. 

Responding officers located the suspect on a LRV. After questioning, the suspect responded that the victim had hit and slapped him which caused him to want to take the phone away from the victim in fear that she would lie about him. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report that someone was standing in the park, completely nude and loudly screaming. Responding officers spoke to the witness, who reported that the suspect was sitting in the grass near the children’s park. A second witness was reported to have confronted the suspect, which caused the suspect to start yelling at the victim and spitting at her. The suspect was located and cited.
