Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License – Cited

19th Ave & Irving St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle making a left turn despite a posted sign prohibiting left turns. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check revealed that the driver did not have a driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Vehicle Burglary – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle burglary. The victim reported that she was at home when she looked outside and observed several suspects behind her vehicle. The victim looked closer and noticed that the rear window of her vehicle was shattered and that a suspect was reaching through it and into her vehicle. A witness, a neighbor, was returning home and stated that he also observed the suspects behind the victim’s vehicle and yelled at the suspects until they fled. Responding officers located four subjects together, with one subject matching the description given by the victim and witness, boarded on a MUNI LRV. The officers stopped the LRV and detained the subjects, who were confirmed by the victim. After further investigation, the subjects were identified as juveniles and one was cited while the other three where admonished.

Officers observed using LIDAR and observed a vehicle traveling at 55 mph in a 35 mph zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check revealed that the driver did not have a driver’s license. The check also revealed that the driver had also been previously cited for the same offense. The driver was cited and his vehicle towed.

Burglary – Search Warrant – Arrested

Taraval’s Investigation Team investigated several burglaries in the neighborhood and located a suspect regarding them.    While executing the warrant, the team located stolen items and money. The suspect was later arrested.
