Suspended Driver’s License – Traffic Violation – Cited

Officers were on patrol and observed a driver of a van holding a cell phone in his right hand while operating the motor vehicle, which was in violation of 23123(a) cvc. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver which revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.
Robbery of a Commercial Establishment

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim, the owner of the store, reported that she observed the suspect concealing a merchandise item. The victim confronted the suspect and the suspect attempted to punch the victim twice, but missed both times. However, the victim was frightened and let the suspect flee the store without further incident.
