Battery

Officers responded to a report of a trespasser. The witness reported that he heard the doorbell ring and looked out the window before telling the two subjects to leave but one subject continued to ring the bell. One of the subjects, the victim, stated that he continued to ring the doorbell in an attempt to get help after being chased and punched on the head by a group of unknown suspects.

A SIT sergeant investigated a previous incident concerning a broken window and spoke to the suspect, who initially denied any knowledge of the crime. However, once the suspect was told that his finger prints were located on the vehicle and identified by CSI, the suspect recanted his statement. The suspect came to the police station and was cited.

Threats – Resisting Arrest – Intoxicated in a Public Place – Arrested

3900 Noriega St
Officers were flagged down regarding an intoxicated suspect. The victim reported that the suspect was drinking beer but became too intoxicated to be served more alcohol and was told to leave. The suspect refused to leave and slapped the victim before walking away. Responding officers located the suspect and detained him, despite the suspect refusing to cooperate and becoming aggressive. After multiple failed attempts to deescalate, the officers were forced to deploy pepper spray against the suspect and handcuffed him.  An ambulance arrived to evaluate the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Taraval Station
The suspect entered Taraval Station to file a fraud report. However, while attempting to file the report with the help of an officer and PSA, the suspect became extremely irate and refused to answer questions involving the fraud. The suspect then picked up telephone and attempted to smash it into pieces. The suspect was later arrested.

Battery

300 Eucalyptus Dr
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that he was playing basketball with the suspect and a group of other people when an argument ensued and the suspect punched him. However, multiple witnesses reported that the victim instigated the incident and actively provoked the suspect into hitting him. After the argument, the suspect left the location. 

 

Sexual Battery

800 Ulloa St
A witness came to Taraval Station to report a battery incident. The witness reported that while he was on a LRV, he had observed the suspect pressing against a seated female victim. After being the time and LRV number by the witness, the officer made a request for the LRV security video for further investigation.
