False Personation – Possession of Burglary Tools – Arrested

Officers were on patrol in an area with a history of auto burglaries and observed the suspect testing vehicle door handles to check if they were unlocked. Once the suspect noticed the officers were in the area, he was observed to immediately ducked down and hide between two vehicles. The officers made contact and questioned the suspect. However, the suspect gave false information which impeded a computer check and the suspect was detained and transported to Taraval Station. A finger print check identified the suspect and a search of the suspect located a flashlight, a glass punch tool, gloves and multiple times of glass shards which were suspected to have come from broken vehicle windows. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. The victim reported that she was in the process of obtaining a divorce after discovering a large amount of money missing from their joint account. The victim confronted the suspect but the suspect angrily pushed the victim away before producing a knife from a pocket and threatening to kill the victim. The victim raced to the bedroom to call the police and the suspect left the house. Later, the suspect entered Taraval Station and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

The victim entered Taraval Station to report a battery. The victim reported that she was on a L Taraval LRV where people were crowded in and bumping against each other. At one point, she felt something pressing directly against her buttock area but due to the limited space, she ignored it. However, when the crowd thinned out and more standing space became available, the pressure remained and she looked back behind her to see that the suspect had his genitalia exposed. The victim pushed the suspect away from her and walked to a different part of the LRV and the suspect exited at the next stop.
