Battery – Vandalism – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a restraining order violation. The victim reported that he went to answer the door after hearing the doorbell but did not find anybody at the door. Shortly after, the doorbell rang again and the suspect remained behind and yelled at the victim before spitting at him. Turning around, the suspect then walked back down the stairs and vandalized the victim’s vehicle. The suspect also threw a brick at the victim, which missed, before attempting to flee the area. Responding officers arrived at that point and successfully detained the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

An officer responded to a report of a possible burglar in the area. The responding officer located the suspect matching the description given by dispatch but the suspect began to immediately fled into the street and running against a red light. The suspect was later located and detained but there was no evidence of criminal activities. The suspect also declined giving a reason for why he immediately ran from the officers. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.   

Burglary of a Store – Vandalism to Property

A SIT sergeant investigated a previous store burglary and obtained information of the suspect through evidence recorded on a video camera. The suspect was identified, located and arrested.

Robbery of a Service Station

1700 Noriega St
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that the suspect had knocked on the door and asked if the victim could help him count his rolls of coins. The victim let the suspect enter the garage area of the service station, where the suspect purchased cigarettes and gas. While conducting the transaction, the suspect then put on gloves and produced a firearm which he pointed at the victim. The suspect proceeded to grab the money from the cash register and exited the station before fleeing in his vehicle.  

Robbery of a Commercial Establishment

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that the suspect had entered the store and selected multiple items of merchandise before attempting to check the numbers on a lottery ticket. However, the lottery ticket machine was not working which caused the suspect to become angry and throw things around. The victim asked the suspect leave but the suspect refused. The suspect then produced a firearm and demanded money. The victim was afraid and gave the suspect all the money that was in the register. The suspect then exited the store and fled.
