Attempted Arson – Arrested

2200 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a suspect observed lighting a paper on fire while acting erratically. Responding officers arrived and recognized the suspect, who had a known history of drug usage. The witness reported that the suspect was observed attempting to light paper on fire, that was wedged against a building. The suspect was observed attempting to light the paper multiple times because the wind kept blowing it out. The officers detained the suspect and located the stack of burnt paper. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Probation Violation – Theft of a Bicycle – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a citizen detaining a suspect for petty theft. The victim reported that he was in his kitchen when he saw suspicious movement and went to investigate. Outside, he observed that the suspect was riding away on his daughter’s bicycle. The victim stopped and detained the suspect. A computer check on the suspect revealed that she was on probation. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Arrest Warrant

Officers responded to the water plant regarding a possible burglary. A witness observed the suspect jumping over the fence to private property. Responding officers located the suspect and a computer check revealed that the suspect had three warrants out of San Mateo. The suspect was arrested.

Shoplifting – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

1700 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of an incident of  attempted shoplifting. The witness reported that the suspect was observed placing a jacket from the store inside a bag and walking out of the store without paying. The witness followed the suspect outside and grabbed the bag, the suspect immediately let go of the bag and fled the scene. The witness again followed the suspect and directed the responding officers to her location. Officers detained the suspect and a computer check revealed that the suspect had an warrant for her arrest. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Warrant Arrest – Resisting Officers Duties – Drinking Alcohol in Public – Arrested

Funston Ave & Irving St
An officer observed a suspect drinking from a large can of beer in public. As the officers approached the suspect, the suspect immediately dropped the can of beer and walked away from the officer. The officer gave chase and detained the suspect. A computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest out of Marin County.  The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of an incident of commercial robbery. The victim reported that he had attempted to process a sale from the suspect but the credit card presented did not clear the transaction. the victim tried to retain the merchandise but the suspect pushed the victim and grabbed all the items before fleeing the store.
