Burglary – Arrested

00 Vernon St
Officers responded to a report of someone on top of a roof. Shortly before the responding officers arrived at the location, dispatch advised them that second report had come in concerning an unknown suspect had exited the house while the victims were arriving home and entering their garage. The victims stated that they had opened the garage door and the suspect immediately ran out. While concluding their investigation, a witness came forth and reported that they had seen the suspect. The officers located and detained the suspect, who was observed to be under the influence of narcotics. After further investigation and an interview with witnesses, the suspect was arrested.

1800 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of threats to employees.  The caller reported that the suspect had threatened him with a knife and then proceeded to board a MUNI. Responding officers located and detained the suspect, despite the suspect attempted to flee. The victim reported that the suspect had a known history of prior shoplifting incidents at their store. Earlier, the suspect attempted to make a transaction using an online gift card, but it was declined. The suspect then became upset and started threatening the victim. The victim requested that the suspect leave but the suspect continued to yell and threaten to harm the victim. A computer check on the suspect revealed a warrant for his arrest out of San Mateo. The suspect was arrested.

Traffic Violation – No Driver’s License Issued – Cited

Garfield St & Victoria St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle with two non functioning brake lights. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was never issued a driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Burglary – Vandalism – Possession of Stolen Property – Warrants – Arrested

2500 44th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a burglar inside a home. The witness reported that she was hired by the owner to sell the house. However, when she arrived at the house, she noticed that the garage door was damaged and the suspect was hiding behind several boxes. Responding officers searched the building and detained two suspects. Upon questioning, the suspect stated that they were invited into the house by an unknown person. They also stated that they thought the items in the garage were to be discarded. A computer check on the suspects revealed that one of them had a warrant for his arrest. Both suspects were arrested.
