Robbery
10:21 pm
Lawton St & Great Hwy
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victims reported that they had their camera and tripod forcibly taken from them while they were walking along the Great Highway. Two suspects had approached them and one suspect pulled the camera away from the victim’s grip while the second suspect threatened to strike the second victim when he attempted to help. After taking the camera and tripod, both suspects fled in a vehicle. 

Vehicle Burglary – Probation Violation – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of an auto theft. The victim reported that she was inside her house when she heard her car alarm and went to investigate. Once outside, the victim observed the suspect was inside her vehicle and confronted him. The suspect fled immediately. The victim followed the suspect until he entered a nearby liquor store. Responding officers located the suspect matching the description given and the suspect was verified by the victim.  A search of the suspect located marijuana in his pockets. It was also revealed that the suspect was on probation for vandalism. The suspect was arrested.

Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License Issued – Cited

00 Lobos St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle with an expired registration sticker. A computer check on the vehicle confirmed it had been expired since Feb. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was never issued a drivers license. The driver was cited.

Vandalism to Property – Possession of Narcotics Paraphernalia – Cited

2500 19th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person at Larsen Park. The officers located the suspect, who had a known history from previous contacts on multiple occasions, inside the park bathroom. The suspect was standing next to a broken soap dispenser but denied damaging any property. Despite a sign stating that all adults in the park must be accompanied by children, the suspect was alone. A search of the suspect located a glass pipe commonly use to smoke methamphetamine and a computer check revealed that the suspect was on probation. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

300 Quintara St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle traveling in darkness without having it’s headlights on. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Warrant Arrest – Cocaine Offense – Methamphetamine Offense – Arrested

100 Lee Ave
Officers responded to a report of a male who had an active warrant and was possibly in possession of a gun. Responding officers made contact with the suspect and determined that there was not merit to the report of a gun. However, a computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant out of San Mateo and a search located a bag containing crystal methamphetamine and a second bag containing powdered cocaine. The suspect was arrested.
