Robbery of Chain Store

700 Taraval St
An officer responded to Safeway, regarding a robbery incident. The witness reported that the suspect was observed placing bottles of alcohol into her purse while in the liquor aisle of the store. The witness attempted to detain the suspect when she started to walk out of the store without paying but the suspect immediately removed a bottle of alcohol from her purse and raised it threateningly. Fearful of injury, the witness backed away. However, as the suspect walked out of the store, the witness reached out and successfully retrieved a couple of bottles of alcohol that were sticking out from the suspect’s purse. The suspect immediately climbed on a nearby bus and fled the location.

Officers responded to a report of a fight in progress. The witness reported that he was inside his house when he heard screaming from the outside. The witness investigated and observed two females engaged in a fight.

Party #11 stated that she had arrived at the house of Party #2, who is her aunt, to drop off her son for her mother to babysit. However, Party #2 was frustrated and acting aggressively towards her and demanding that she go into the house. Party #1 refused and Party #2 became upset and pulled on Party #1’s hair and punched her on the head.

However, Party #2 responded that Party #1 had come over to pick up some food that was prepared for her and invited her to enter the house to pick it up. Party #1 refused and began screaming that her boyfriend didn’t want to go inside the house and punched Party #2 on the shoulder, which caused Party #2 to punch back.  

After speaking to both parties and witnesses, both parties were cited.

Officers responded to a report of a trespasser. Responding officers arrived and located the suspect with the help of the witness. Officers detained the suspect and a computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant for her arrest. The witness declined to press charges on trespassing. The suspect was arrested on her warrant.
