Officers responded to a report of a possible squatter. Responding officers arrived and split up with one officer speaking to the victim and the other outside by an exit. Shortly after the arrival of the officers, the suspect walked out of the house. The suspect was instructed to stop walking and to sit down. The suspect replied that the house was his and insisted on walking away despite continued instructions to stop. The officers successfully detained the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was later cited.
