Assault with Force – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim reported that during an argument with one of her roommates, the suspect (another roommate) entered the room and began yelling at the victim because her name had came up in the argument. Shortly after, the suspect began strangling the victim. A witness intervened and separated them. After further investigation and an interview with the witness, the suspect was arrested.  

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

An officer was on patrol and observed a vehicle with a large crack in it’s front windshield along with multiple items dangling from the rear view mirror. The officer conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Violation of Stay Away Order

700 Irving St
An officer responded to a report of a suspect violating a stay away order from a business in the area. The witness told the officers that the suspect had came into the store and started bothering the customers. The witness also stated that their customers also complained of the suspect’s behavior. Officers confirmed the order and arrested the suspect.

Shoplifting with Force – Arrested

Officers were on patrol and observed a suspect, who had been involved in a shoplifting incident two days ago, was currently standing on a MUNI platform. The suspect was Mirandized and arrested and taken to Taraval Station. The stated that he had gone to the store to buy a gift but upon entering the store, two employees were watching him. The suspect said that an employee accused him of shoplifting so he put his items down and left the store. The suspect said he never threatened anyone.
