Evading a Police Officer

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle that was listed as having been stolen. The officers attempted to pull the vehicle over but the vehicle immediately fled at high speed while running through numerous red stop lights. The officers did not pursue the vehicle.

Vehicle Violation – No Driver’s License Issued – Cited

Officers were in the process of having a camper towed from the area when the driver, with a known history, arrived to hook it up and moving it. The driver stated that he had a South Carolina license that allowed him to drive in California. After further investigation, it was revealed that the driver had established residency in San Francisco for over a year and that the South Carolina license was currently suspended. The driver was cited.

Grand theft Auto – Warrants – Possession of Stolen Property – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a suspect sleeping in a vehicle that was still running. A computer check on the vehicle revealed that it had been stolen. When the officers approached, the suspect immediately attempted to flee the location. However, the officers were successful in detaining the suspect. A search of the vehicle located a usable amount of marijuana and methamphetamine along with a large amount stolen property. A computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Vandalism to Vehicle – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of vandalism to a vehicle, which had occurred on the previous day. The victim contacted SFPD and reported that the suspect was at her location. The victim stated that her son had invited the suspect to stay with him and that the suspect had vandalized several items of her property. The victim reported that the suspect was observed placing a heavy weight on the hood of her vehicle to cause damage. Responding officers successfully located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested. 

Assault with Poison – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a poisoning. Responding officers met with the victim, who was at the hospital. The victim reported that he had been feeling unwell the past two weeks and suffered from weakness and grogginess. The victim stated that he had looked at his medication recently and noticed an unknown medication had been placed inside the pills and believed that they were tampered with. This was later confirmed by the doctor. The victim stated that the suspect, his girlfriend was the only other person who had control of his medication. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
