Arson of a Vehicle

00 Montana St
Officers responded to a report of arson. The witness reported that he heard a knock on his from door and when he went to investigate, he observed that there was a vehicle on fire outside. A computer check on the vehicle revealed that it had been stolen and was previously used in a carjacking incident. The fire was successfully extinguished by the SFFD.

Officers responded to a report of arson. The victim reported that she heard an unusual noise from outside and when she went to investigate, she found that her vehicle was on fire. The fire was successfully extinguished by the SFFD.

Assault – Threats – Arrested

2000 32nd Ave
Officers responded to a report of threats. The victim reported that the suspect, his brother, threatened that he might have a box cutter and would use it to cut the victim’s throat. The victim also stated that he was slapped and punched by the suspect earlier that day and that the suspect had a history of violence and verbally threatening him. After further investigation, the suspect was later arrested.

Offices responded to a report of a person with a knife. The witness reported that he had been woken up by the sounds of swearing nearby. The witness went to investigate and observed the suspect holding on to the victim and punching him. The victim reported that he was in his room when the suspect angrily came in believing that the victim had broken the suspect’s phone. The victim told the suspect to leave but the suspect responded by punching him. The victim reported that he heard the suspect say “to death” but was unable to hear the rest of the sentence. The witness then stepped in and stopped the fight.

In response, the suspect stated that he had called the police because the victim had attacked him. The suspect believed that the victim was going to get a knife and kill him and his children and attempted to defend himself against the victim. However, the suspect admitted that he did not see the victim with a knife. After further investigation and an interview with the witness, the suspect was arrested.

Throwing Fireworks at a Person

Officers responded to a report of an altercation. The witness reported that he was at the parking lot of a 7-11 while three suspects were setting off various types of unknown fireworks. The witness stated that he went to extinguish the fireworks and requested that the suspects stop. The suspects responded by angrily yelling at the witness and throwing unlit fireworks at him. The suspects fled the location when the witness called the police.
