Threats – Vandalism to Property – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of vandalism to a property.  The victim stated that the suspect, her sister, had a history of drug addiction and suffered from mental issues. The victim reported that an argument between her father and the suspect had escalated, which caused the suspect to become angry and broke the planters in front of their house. The suspect also threatened to wait for their mother to come home before beating her to death. Responding officers located the suspect and transported her for a mental evaluation.

Officers responded to a report of a couple in a fight. The witness reported that his downstairs tenants were fighting and he went to investigate when he saw that the suspect was holding the victim’s arms while shaking her and noticed blood on the victim’s face and on a nearby wall. The victim refused to provide any information about the situation, including details about a recent injury to her nose. The suspect also refused to provide any information about the situation, including personal information such as his name and date of birth. A computer check was conducted, which positively identified the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

The victim entered Taraval Station to report a battery incident. The victim stated that the suspect, his daughter’s boyfriend, asked to speak with him privately. The victim and the suspect walked to a street corner where the suspect began to complain that the victim’s daughter was spending too much time at home and always late when they got together. The suspect then punched the victim on his face before immediately leaving the location.

TNT officers observed a known subject with two felony warrants for his arrest. As the officers approached the subject, the subject immediately attempted to flee. The officers gave chase and cut off the subject’s exit route despite the subject running through the backyards of the neighboring houses. The subject surrendered and was arrested without further incident.
