No Driver’s License Issued – Vehicle Violation – Cited

Ocean Ave & Woodacre Dr
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle that failed to yield to a pedestrian who was already crossing the street. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he did not have a valid driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Assault – Arrested

100 Lee Ave
Officers responded to a report of an assault. The witness, a SFFD medic, reported that they were approached by the suspect who stated that she had been assaulted. The suspect spoke to the officers and needed prompting to give the name of the victim, who was standing a short distance away. The suspect refused to provide further information except that she did not want to press charges. 

The officers made contact with the victim, who had a bloody lip and was very hesitant with the exchange. The victim stated that the suspect had appeared when he was talking to another woman and that the suspect threw a plastic bottle of hair gel at him but refused to provide further information. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Assault – Hate Crime – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a possible battery. Responding officers made contact and detained the suspect. The victim, who had blood on his face and shirt, reported that he had been running around the track inside the Ocean View Playground with his brother when he passed by the suspect. The suspect suddenly punched the victim on his face and threatened to kill the victim while making racial comments. The suspect then threw a rock at both victims but missed. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.  

Battery

Officers responded to a report of a battery. Responding officers made contact and detained the suspect. The victim reported that he observed that the suspect was staring at him, somewhat menacingly, and went over to say “hi” to him. The suspect did not reply but followed the victim to his car before suddenly punching the victim once and walking away. The suspect admitted to speaking with the victim but denied ever hitting the victim. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Attempted Robbery – Possession of Stolen Property – Arrested

Judah St & Sunset Blvd
Officers responded to a report of a possible robbery on MUNI. The witness, a MUNI driver, stated that the suspect was observed pacing on the MUNI and looking at the other passengers and their belongings. The suspect then approached the victim and attempted to take his cell phone. The victim reported that he was seated in the middle of the bus when he noticed the suspect standing next to him. The suspect then attempted to grab his cell phone, but the victim turned his body to shield his phone. Another victim also reported that the suspect had attempted to take his cell phone as well. The victim also mentioned that he had a container of soup next to him earlier, but that it was now missing. A search of the suspect and his property revealed the missing soup, which was found in the suspect’s duffle bag, as well as various drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. The suspect was arrested.
