The victim entered Taraval Station to report a robbery that had occurred three days previously. The victim stated that he had been drinking earlier that evening and was walking in the area of 38th Avenue and Taraval, at approximately 3am, when an unknown suspect suddenly appeared with a switch blade pointed at him. The victim attempted to turn around in an attempt escape but found that a second suspect was directly behind him. The victim surrendered and gave the suspect his wallet. The suspect also went through the victim’s backpack before taking it and getting into a vehicle and leaving.
