Battery

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated that she was pushed to the ground by the suspect when she entered his room after knocking. The suspect confirmed that victim did knock on his door but she also entered without waiting for his response. The suspect stated that at the time she entered the room, he was only half dressed which caused him to immediately push her out of his room. After further investigation, the suspect was admonished.
Vehicle Tampering

Officers responded to a report of a possible auto burglary. The victim stated that she was walking back to her vehicle when she observed that the suspect was sitting in the front passenger seat of her vehicle. The victim immediately yelled at the suspect which caused him to drop some of the victim’s documents on to the ground before walking away. Responding officers located the suspect, who was currently on probation with a search condition. A search revealed that the suspect was in possession of other items belonging to another person. Because the victim declined to press charges, the suspect was released. The officers were also unable to make contact with the owner of the items and retained the items for further investigation.
