Shoplifting – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to Macy’s regarding a detained shoplifting suspect. The witness, a loss prevention employee, stated that the suspect was observed walking into the store and picking up store merchandise before immediately taking it over to a register and attempting to make a return. The witness reported that the suspect was refunded the price of the merchandise, despite not having a receipt. The witness checked the store’s system and confirmed that the merchandise had never been purchased and detained the suspect. Responding officers conducted a computer check which revealed that the suspect had an arrest warrant. The suspect was arrested.

TNT officers received information regarding a warrant for a suspect who had missed her court appearance. Officers responded to the suspect’s house and arrested her without incident.
