Battery

John Muir Dr & Lake Merced Blvd
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that he was walking on a pathway when he observed the suspect pulling up in a vehicle and throwing a bag of garbage into a public garbage can. The victim confronted the suspect and told him to dump his garbage at home instead. The suspect responded by angrily punching the victim before entering his vehicle and leaving. The victim admitted to also punching back at the suspect.  

Transporting Marijuana and Opium – Traffic Violation – Cited

19th Ave & Noriega St
TNT teams were patrolling as uncover officers and observed a vehicle with extremely dark tinted front and rear tinted windows and paper plates. The officers conducted a traffic stop. When the officers approached the vehicle, they smelled a strong odor of unburnt marijuana. After confronting the suspect about the smell of marijuana, the suspect confessed to having a pound of it in his vehicle. The suspect was arrested and his Miranda rights was read to him. The officers also searched his vehicle and located a bottle of codeine with the prescription label ripped off. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Officers responded to check on a person who was lying face down on the sidewalk. Officers arrived on scene and located the subject, who had a quarter full bottle of Jack Daiels next to him. A computer check on the subject revealed that he had a warrant for his arrest. The subject was arrested.

Shoplifting with force – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

700 Taraval St
Officers responded to Safeway regarding a possible fight. The victim, a manager, observed the suspect attempting to steal several items from the store before trying to exit the store without paying. The suspect then threw a bottle at the victim, which missed and shattered. The suspect also broke numerous bottles of wine onto the floor. Responding officers arrived and detained the suspect. A computer check also revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.
