Robbery with a Gun

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim stated that he was walking north while listening to music through his ear buds when a suspect suddenly grabbed the suspect’s arm. The victim turned around and saw that the suspect was pointing a black semi automatic handgun at him. A second suspect came up from behind the victim and removed the victim’s backpack while the first suspect reached into the victim’s pocket for his cell phone. Both suspects then got into a silver Honda Element and fled the scene.
Assault – Arrested

La Playa St & Judah St
Officers were on patrol in the area when they observed a suspect matching an emailed photo of the suspect sent by the Tenderloin Investigation Team in regards to an assault with a knife on 8-19-17. The officers detained the suspect and confirmed his involvement in the incident at the Tenderloin. The suspect was arrested.
