Driving while Under the Influence of Alcohol – Arrested

38th Ave & Ulloa St
Officers responded to a report of a possible drunk driver. The witness, an off duty sergeant, observed a vehicle swerving in and out of it’s lane and almost hitting a parked vehicle. Responding officers and the off duty sergeant located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was observed with watery and bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The driver also admitted that he had been drinking. The officers conducted a series of tests, which the driver failed. The officers then conducted a blood draw on the driver. The driver was later arrested.

Fire

Officers responded to a report of a fire on the roof of the building. SFFD observed that a mattress, food and smoking material on the roof was set on fire but believes that the fire was started accidentally.

Traffic Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

3000 San Jose Ave
Officers were on patrol and were flagged down regarding a traffic collision. The witness told the officers that the other driver refused to exchange insurance information with him. The officers conducted a computer check which revealed that the other driver’s license had been suspended. The driver was also unable to provide insurance. The driver was cited.

Hot Prowl Burglary – Robbery – False Imprisonment

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim arrived home and noticed that the downstairs door to the in-law and the back door was standing ajar. The victim closed the door, went upstairs and went to bed at 2130 hours. At 0400 hours, the victim was awoken by noises and attempted to investigate but was suddenly held down by the suspect. The suspect told the victim that he had a gun but the victim did not see it. The suspect then placed zip ties to bind the victim’s hands and ankles before wrapping a t-shirt around the victim’s face and placing a pillow case over their head. The victim was able to maneuver her tied hands towards the telephone and called 911 for help.  

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

TNT officers received information of a known subject who had a warrant for his arrest. The officers responded to the subject’s home, located him and arrested him without incident.

Cultivating Marijuana – Vandalism to property – Arrested

3600 Rivera St
Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity observed in a back yard. Responding officers arrived at the location and were immediately met with a subject who had suddenly opened the garage door. The subject stated that he was the owner of the house and had been living there for over a year. However, the officers observed a large quantity of plastic plant trays and sprayers, along with a PG&E meter that had been bypassed. A computer check on the subject revealed that he was on probation and had a search condition. Based on that information, the officers searched the subject’s other home on Dartmouth St and located a large quantity of growing marijuana plants. The subject was later arrested.
