Theft of a Auto – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

3200 20th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a possibly stolen vehicle, a BMW. The victim reported that she had accidentally dropped her car keys when she had parked her vehicle.

Responding officers located the vehicle and made contact with the passenger, who was sitting inside. The passenger stated that she was shopping alone when the driver drove up to her in the BMW and asked if she needed a ride. The passenger accepted the offer and did not know the driver’s name but he had mentioned that he had to get something at Macy’s before they could leave.  

The officers successfully located the suspect, who was holding on to a BMW key, and detained him without incident. The passenger then positively identified the suspect as the driver who approached her in the BMW. A computer check on the driver revealed he had a warrant for his arrest. The driver was arrested.

Suspended Driver’s License – Traffic Violation – Cited

Kirkham St & 19th Ave
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle run a red light without making an attempt to slow down. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. It also showed that the driver had been cited numerous times for the same offense. The driver was cited and his vehicle was towed.

Robbery
5:14 pm
700 Irving St
Officers responded to a report of a fight between two males. The victim reported that the three suspects had hit him and stole his property. The victim stated that the female suspect had also attempted but was unsuccessful in stealing his backpack. After the incident, the victim saw the suspect and confronted her. The suspect and her friend responded by hitting him before getting on a motorcycle and leaving the area. 

Robbery – Arrested

19th Ave & Lincoln Way
Officers responded to a report of a fight. The victim reported that she had just exited Golden Gate Park with her baby when she felt someone taking her cell phone out of her rear pocket. The victim quickly turned around and yelled for help which caused the suspect to grab her by the arm and throw her on to the ground. Several people approached the victim to help her and the suspect threw the victim’s phone on to the ground and walked away from the scene. Responding successfully located the suspect, based on the description given, and detained him without incident. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
