Traffic Violation – No Driver’s License – Cited

19th Ave & Pacheco St
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision. Responding officers observed that three vehicles were involved in the collision. After an investigation of the scene and speaking with a witness, it was determined that one of the drivers had failed to stop at the red light and had collided with a second vehicle. A computer check on the driver revealed that he did not have a valid driver’s license and also did not have insurance. The driver was cited and his vehicle was towed.

Robbery

800 Brotherhood Way
Officers responded to a report of a robbery with a gun. The officers arrived at the Armenian Cultural Foundation and made contact with the victim. The victim reported that he was in charge of taking the money on bingo night and had been robbed. The victim stated that the suspect came into the room and told him not to move while pointing a gun at him. The suspect then took all the cash out of the metal cash register as well as the cash for the next game’s payout. A second suspect was observed with the first suspect but they did not say or do anything notable. Both suspects immediately fled the location afterwards. 

Assault with a knife – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of someone restraining a second person, who had a knife. Responding officers made contact with the suspect and the victim. The suspect stated that she and the victim had been drinking earlier and had broken a glass when they started arguing. The suspect reported that she refused to let the victim disrespect her in her own home and in response, she went to get a knife before kicking at the victim’s door. The suspect stated that this was only intended as a scare tactic. The suspect was arrested.

Battery

The victim came to Taraval station to report a battery incident. The victim stated that she was crossing the street when she heard a car honking. The victim spoke to the driver but continued walking before she was suddenly pushed and yelled at by the suspect. The suspect then left the scene. The victim believes that the suspect was the person who initially honked at her.  

Domestic Violence
Two incidents of domestic violence were reported. Both of the suspects, in each incident, were arrested.
