Battery – Vandalism to Vehicle

19th Ave & Winston Dr
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim, a MUNI bus driver, reported that she had been punched in the eye. The victim stated that the suspect had already placed his bicycle on the bike rack and paid for his fare but would not step behind the yellow line painted on the floor. When the victim requested that the suspect move behind the yellow line, the suspect angrily grabbed the victim’s hat off of her head and threw it on to the ground. The victim stopped the bus and announced that she was powering down the bus to await a supervisor. This prompted the suspect to become angrier and the suspect punched the victim before exiting the bus and retrieving his bicycle. On the way out, the suspect also broke a bus window.  

Battery

1700 35th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a fight. The victim reported that she and her husband were the legal guardians of the suspect, her nephew. The victim stated that she had attempted to wake the suspect up so he would be able to go to his classes but the suspect refused to get up. The suspect also preformed a wrestling move against the victim, which caused minor bruising.  

Theft from a person – Arrested
9:15 am
Taraval St & 15th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a theft of a cell phone. The victim reported that she was on a LRV when two juvenile suspects suddenly grabbed her cell phone away from her. The two suspects immediately ran off the LRV but the victim chased after them. After a short distance, the suspect dropped the victim’s phone and the victim successfully retrieved it. The suspect also told the victim to not call the police since she had her phone back. Responding officers located the suspects and after further investigation, they were arrested.

Two incident of Domestic Violence. Both suspects in each incident were arrested.
