Possession of Stolen Property – Possession of Burglary Tools – Cited

Responding officers made contact with the witness, who advised that two suspects had taken numerous jackets and placed them into a shopping cart before immediately walking out of the store without paying. The officers located the suspects and a shopping cart full of jackets, which still had store sensors and tags on them. A search of the suspects revealed a pair of needle nose pliers, an item that is commonly used to remove merchandise sensors, in one of the suspect’s hands. After further investigation and contact with the store’s management, the suspects were cited.

Special Victims Unit contacted a Taraval sergeant to inform him that the Contra Costa Sheriff Department had tracked a wanted suspect’s cell phone to a location inside our district and provided a photo for reference. Responding officers located the suspect inside a restaurant and the suspect was arrested without incident.

Officers responded to a report of a known suspect, who was disturbing his neighbors. The officers conducted a computer check on the suspect which revealed a warrant for his arrest out of Daly City. Responding officers located the suspect, who was inside his home. The suspect was advised of his warrant and was arrested without incident.

Battery – Vandalism to Property

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that the suspect had come into the store to purchase a cigar. However, the suspect was angry at how small the cigar was and exited the store. However, the victim noticed that the suspect also stole a can of Red Bull on his way out of the store. The victim followed the suspect and confronted him. The suspect spat at the victim and threw the drink can on to the ground before fleeing the location.
