Assault – Battery with Injuries – Arrested

Holloway Ave & Tapia Dr
While investigating a previous assault which resulted in injuries, a SIT sergeant identified the suspect and his location. The TNT team successfully located the suspect after canvassing the area and later arrested him.  

Traffic Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

19th Ave & Denslowe Dr
A sergeant was conducting speed enforcement when he observed a vehicle traveling at approximately 55-60 mph. The sergeant used his LIDAR and determined that the driver was traveling at 59 mph. A traffic stop was conducted and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license was suspended. The driver was cited.

Brandishing a Weapon – Cited

200 Broad St
Officers responded to a report of a suspect with a knife. Responding officers arrived at the location, a laundromat, and were met by both the victim and the suspect. The victim reported that he had walked into the laundromat and that he greeted the suspect after noticing that the suspect was staring at him. The victim stated that the suspect responded to his greeting by threatening him while holding on to two knives. A search of the suspect revealed the two knives, which were located in his pocket. After further investigation, the suspect was cited and the knives were confiscated.

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle that had failed to make a stop at a posted stop sign. A traffic stop was conducted and a computer check on the driver revealed that the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was cited.

Trespassing
6:15 pm
700 Irving St
Officers responded to a report of a trespasser inside a coffee shop. The manager reported that the suspect had been warned multiple times by both store employees and SFPD officers to not enter the shop. However, the suspect did not take notice and simply walked back into the store. The suspect was cited.

Robbery
8:23 pm
Judah St & 40th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that she was on the N Judah LRV and had just placed her cell phone into her purse when the suspect suddenly reached over and grabbed the phone. The victim attempted to retain the phone but was unsuccessful. The suspect immediately exited the LRV and fled.
