Traffic Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Alemany Blvd & Brotherhood Way
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle without a license plate. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The check also revealed that the driver had been cited numerous times for driving on a suspended license. The driver was cited and his vehicle was towed.

Officers were on patrol and observed vehicle, which did not have license plates, make a left turn in to a lane that was specifically for traveling straight. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that she did not have a license. The vehicle also had an expired registration. The driver was cited.

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle an expired registration sticker. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The check also revealed that the driver had been cited numerous times for driving with a suspended license. The driver was cited and his was vehicle towed.

Trespassing – Threats – Arrested

3200 20th Ave
An officer was on patrol and was approached regarding a trespasser inside the Stonestown Shopping Center. The victim, a security employee, reported that the suspect had been observed stealing merchandise, which was caught on video. The victim confronted the victim inside the mall and advised him to leave and not to return. The suspect responded angrily and threatened to kill the victim. The suspect then left the mall but returned shortly afterwards. The victim confronted the suspect a second time and the suspect again threatened to harm the victim and his family if they were seen outside of the mall and on the streets. The suspect left a second time and also returned shortly afterwards. Responding officers located the suspect and arrested him.  

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Garfield St & Monticello St
Officers were on patrol in the area when they observed a known subject that had three active warrants for his arrest. The officers made contact with the subject and placed him in handcuffs. A search of the subject revealed that he had heroin in his possession. The subject was arrested.

Traffic Violation – Possession of a Loaded Firearm in a vehicle.

Grafton Ave & Capitol Ave
Two sergeants were on patrol and observed a vehicle with paper plates which did not have any other indication that it was a new vehicle. The officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. The driver stated that the vehicle belonged to his girlfriend and he did not have any of the necessary paperwork for the vehicle. The driver also stated that he had forgotten to bring his identification with him as well. While speaking to the driver, the officers observed a faint smell of marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle and warned the driver that they were going to search the vehicle. After questioning, the driver admitted that the there was a loaded gun in the vehicle. The search located the gun, which was booked as evidence, and the driver was cited.

Officers responded to a report of a person with a knife. The witness reported that her son, the suspect, was screaming and throwing items around inside the house. Responding officers arrived and observed that the house was in a state of disarray. The officers detained the suspect without incident and a computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was sent to a nearby hospital for a mental evaluation and was later arrested for his warrant.
