Officers responded to a report of a family member with a knife. The victim reported that the suspect, a nephew, was in an argument with his mother. The victim stated that the household had been under tension since the morning due to the suspect’s drug usage. During an argument over the suspect owing the victim’s mother money, the suspect had gotten angry and pushed the victim’s mother and also punched the victim in his face before fleeing.

Officers responded to a report of a fight between two neighbors. The victim reported that he and the suspect, a neighbor, had a history of arguments over various reasons. The victim stated that the suspect, in the past, would trespass on to the victim’s property in an attempt to get into an argument. The victim reported that earlier in the day, the suspect was talking to a worker about replacing his carpet while holding on to a lightbulb. The victim stated that the suspect suddenly turned around and started kicking the victim on his leg before a struggle ensued. During the incident, the lightbulb was broken and cut the victim’s finger. The suspect responded that the victim started the fight and that he was protecting himself. Both parties refused to press charges and the incident was documented.

Officers responded to a report of a house fire which was successfully extinguished by SFFD. The victim reported that he was woken up by the sound of the smoke alarm and discovered a fire had started in the back room. The victim did not know how the fire got started.
