Burglary – Conspiracy – Arrested

3200 20th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting incident. Responding officers arrived and located the victim, a loss prevention employee, who was struggling with the suspect. After the suspect was detained, a witness reported that three suspects were observed walking into the store and placing multiple items of merchandise into a large plastic bag before immediately running out of the store. Store employees were successful in catching one of the two suspects but the other two suspects fled the store with stolen items. After further investigation, it was determined that the items which were stolen and then recovered from the detained suspect amounted to over three thousand dollars. The suspect was arrested.

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle fail to make a complete stop at a posted stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had expired.  The driver was cited.

Ocean Ave & Harold Ave
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle with only paper plates. Due to an increase of burglaries using vehicles with paper plates, the officers conducted a traffic stop. A computer check on the driver revealed that the driver was never issued a driver’s license and the vehicle belonged to the driver’s mother. The driver was cited.

Robbery

200 Winston Dr
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that he was sitting on a bench inside Stonestown Mall when two suspects approached him. One suspect punched the victim and the second suspect grabbed the victim’s laptop before immediately fleeing with it.
