Carjacking – Arrest Made

Officers responded to a call regarding an attempted carjacking. The victim reported that the suspect had asked for a ride to the hospital but before reaching the hospital, the suspect decided that she was feeling better. The suspect then climbed from the rear passenger seat and attempted to remove the keys from the ignition. A struggle ensued between the victim and the suspect to take control of the vehicle’s keys. The suspect was unsuccessful and fled the scene. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
