Traffic Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Noriega St & 19th Ave
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle making a right turn from a lane that only permitted left turns. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Traffic Violation – No License Issued – Cited

19th Ave & Denslowe Dr
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The officers used LIDAR and determined that the vehicle was traveling at 51 mph in a 35 mph zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was never issued a driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Officers were on patrol and observed a bicyclist traveling a high rate of speed and not stopping for pedestrians who were crossing in the crosswalk. Instead of slowing down, the bicyclist rode on the sidewalk instead. The officers detained the bicyclist and a computer check revealed that he had an active warrant for his arrest. The bicyclist was arrested.

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle slowing down at an intersection with a stop sign but then continued driving past without making a complete stop. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that the driver was never issued a driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Battery – Cited

1600 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim stated that he was walking by the bank when the suspect exited the bank and punched the victim in the face. The suspect refused to explain why he punched the victim. The suspect was cited.

Robbery of a Store
11:10 am
200 Winston Dr
Officers responded to a report of a robbery at a Target store. The victim, an employee, observed a group of juvenile suspects stealing items from the store. One of the suspects spoke to the victim and said that they had mace and to “not touch them”. The victim was fearful of the group becoming aggressive and the suspects successfully exited the store with multiple items of stolen merchandise.
