Warrant Arrest – Shoplifting – Arrested

3200 20th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a detained shoplifter. The witness, a loss prevention employee, stated that the suspect had entered the store and selected numerous items of merchandise before entering a fitting room. When the suspect exited, he was carrying out an extra bag compared to the amount of items he previously brought into the room. The suspect was detained and a search recovered approximately $500 worth of store merchandise. Officers conducted a computer check which revealed that he has an active warrant out of Union City. The suspect was arrested

Officers responded to a report of a subject acting suspicious. The officers located the subject and a computer check revealed that he has an active warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Robbery
6:53 pm
San Jose Ave & Farallones St
Officers responded to a robbery. The victim reported that she had earphones on, in both of her ears, while talking to her friend and walking down the street. The victim noticed a group of people and turned away from the group while waiting for the MUNI. The victim stated that an unknown suspect suddenly grabbed her arm and stole her cell phone before fleeing the scene.

Battery

200 Winston Dr
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that she was in line when the suspect cut in front of her. The victim confronted the suspect and an argument ensued with the suspect taunting the victim and asking if the victim was going to hit a 17 year old. Without warning, the suspect and three of the suspect’s friends (also juveniles) punched and kicked the victim before fleeing the area.
