Warrant – Arrest

700 Irving St
Officers were flagged down regarding a subject leaning against a merchant’s glass window and almost causing it to shatter. Responding officers located the subject and advised him against leaning on the window and then released the subject. As the subject walked away, he jay walked in to the middle of the street. The officers stopped the subject and a computer check revealed a warrant for his arrest. The subject was arrested.

Officers observed a known subject panhandling on private property. The subject was advised and a computer check on him revealed a warrant for his arrest. The subject was arrested.

Warrant Arrest – Methamphetamine Offense – Arrested

Ocean Ave & Country Club Dr
Officers responded to a report of a subject behaving suspiciously around a parked vehicle. Responding officers located the subject matching the description given and detained him. A computer check on the subject revealed a warrant for his arrest. A search located methamphetamine on the subject’s possession. The subject was arrested.

Robbery
4:12 pm
Noriega St & 27th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that she was walking on the sidewalk when a vehicle suddenly pulled up next to her and a suspect got out of the vehicle. The suspect grabbed the victim’s purse and attempted to cut the bag’s straps with a knife. However, the victim held on to her bag and was cut on her wrist with the knife instead. The victim released the purse and the suspect got back into the vehicle and fled with the purse.  

Assault

200 West Portal Ave
Officers responded to a report of an assault on a DPT Officer. The victim reported that he had just written a parking violation for a vehicle when the suspect approached him and started yelling, cursing at him and threatening to kill him. The suspect then started recording on his cell phone before charging at the victim. The victim pushed the suspect’s phone away from his face and the suspect angrily slammed the victim on to the ground before fleeing the area.
