Theft from a Vehicle – Possession of Burglary Tools – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a possible theft. Responding officers located the suspects matching the description given by the victim. The victim reported that he observed, via his surveillance camera, the suspects remove a camera and money from his vehicle. A search of the suspects revealed a lanyard with three shaved keys. After further investigation both suspects were cited.

Suspended Driver’s License – Traffic Violation – Cited

Sergeants were on patrol and observed a vehicle making a left hand turn while traveling at a high rate of speed. A computer check on the vehicle revealed that the registration had expired. The sergeants attempted to make contact with the driver after the driver pulled into a gas station and started walking towards the kiosk. The driver became confrontational and refused to let the officer explain why he was being detained. A computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended and that he had been cited previously for driving on a suspended license. The driver was cited and his vehicle towed.

Battery

Officers responded to a report of a battery incident. The victim reported that the suspect had boarded the bus with her five year old daughter and failed to pay her fare. The victim confronted the suspect and the suspect scanned her card for payment. Later, the suspect missed getting off at her bus stop and demanded that the bus stop immediately. The suspect became angry and punched the victim in the face while he was driving. When the victim stopped at the next bus stop, the suspect exited with her daughter.

Two incidents of domestic violence; one suspect was arrested from one of the incidents.
