Traffic Violation – No Driver’s License Issued – Cited

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle with registration that had been expired since Feb 2017. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that she did not have a valid driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle making a left turn where left turns were prohibited. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had expired over 30 days ago. The driver was cited.

Traffic Violation – Cited

Niagara Ave
Officers responded to a report of a traffic collision. The officers made contact with the drivers and discovered that one of the drivers did not have his driver’s license with him. The driver was cited.

Theft of a Bicycle – Battery – Cited

100 Gonzalez Dr
Officers responded to a report of a physical altercation in progress. The victim stated his bicycle had been stolen after he parked it in front of a market, six months ago. The victim viewed security footage and saw that the suspect, a known person, had ridden her bicycle to the market and then switched it with his bicycle. Earlier that day, the victim saw the suspect nearby and detained her. The suspect attempted to leave and pushed her bicycle away and bruised the victim. The suspect responded that she thought that the bicycle was thrown away since it was parked next to a garbage can. The suspect then stated that the bicycle had been stolen from her. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Robbery

30th Ave & Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that he was heading home in a taxi and attempted to pay for his fare but his debit card was declined. The victim transferred money immediately to the debit card but it was again declined. At that point, the driver angrily pulled the victim out of the taxi cab and took the victim’s cell phone before leaving the area.
