Probation Violation – Possession of Methamphetamine for Sale – Arrested

2000 Ocean Ave
Officers were on patrol in an area known for criminal and narcotic activities and observed a vehicle which had non operational lighting equipment. The officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the two occupants in the vehicle. A computer check on the occupants revealed that they were both on probation for drug related arrests and they both had search conditions. The officers conducted a search and located individually packaged methamphetamine and pills in addition to a large amount of money. A large knife was also located. After further investigation, the suspects were arrested.

Traffic Violation – Opium Offense – Arrested

Great Hwy & Judah St
Officers were on patrol and observed a driver pass by who was not wearing a seatbelt. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he was on parole. The officers asked the driver if he had any illegal drugs on him and the driver responded that he was in possession of Fentanyl, which contained opiates. The driver then produced a small bag with the pills and gave it to the officers. After further investigation, the driver was arrested.

Irving St & 9th Ave
Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle driving 33 mph in a 25 mph zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check revealed that the driver only had an expired drivers permit. The driver was cited.

Traffic Violation – Warrant Arrest- Arrested

Alemany Blvd & Sagamore St
While on patrol, officers observed a subject sleeping in a vehicle that was parked under an overpass in an area known for abandoned vehicles and a dumping area for trash. The officers conducted a computer check on the vehicle which revealed that the registration had expired since Nov 2017, despite a current registration sticker attached to the license plate. The officers made contact with the subject and he acknowledged that his friend had given him the sticker to put on his vehicle. A computer check on the subject revealed a warrant for his arrest out of San Mateo. The subject was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a physical fight between roommates. Responding officers made contact with both roommates and a computer check on both parties revealed that one of them had a warrant for his arrest. The subject was arrested.

Check Forgery – Arrested
12:00 pm
900 Taraval St
Officers responded to Chase bank regarding a suspect who wanted to cash a check in an account that had a hold placed on it. The witness, a bank teller, discovered that the account had a history of three separate incidents of someone attempting to cash a fraudulent check that had been made on the victim’s account.  After further investigation, the officers determined that the suspect had gone to other banks and forged a check to be paid to herself. The suspect was arrested.

Battery

2600 15th Ave
Officers responded to an incident of battery. The victim reported that he had observed his neighbors pulling into their driveway when a skateboarder, the suspect, made contact with the vehicle. The victim confronted the suspect and the suspect pushed the victim and attempted to swing the skateboard at the victim before fleeing the area. 

Vandalism – Theft from a Vehicle – Arrested

00 Allston Way
Officers responded to an area regarding vandalism. The officers located the suspect and determined that she had thrown a large stone through the side window of a house. The suspect then walked to the next house and poured liquid on to the stairs which was determined to be a mixture of acids which produced a toxic cloud that entered the dwelling. SFFD arrived on scene and neutralized the acid. The suspect was arrested.
