Shoplifting – Cited

2200 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting suspect being detained by an employee. The victim reported that the suspect, a juvenile, was observed walking into the store and stealing several items before immediately exiting the store. The victim successfully detained the suspect, despite the suspect throwing an object at the witness. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he was reported as a missing person from a local group home. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Battery – Elder Abuse – Arrested

Officers responded to a battery incident. The elderly victim reported that the suspect had been arguing with her daughter about finances. The victim attempted to defuse the situation when the suspect pushed the victim and the victim fell to the ground. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

One incident of domestic violence; the suspect was arrested.
