Traffic Violation – No License Issued – Cited

Holloway Ave & Ashton Ave
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle being driven without a license plate. The officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. The driver stated that he did not have a license, which was confirmed by a computer check. The driver was cited.

Threats
11:09 am
1800 Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of threats. The victims, who were postal employees, reported that the suspect had angrily entered the post office while yelling, screaming and demanding to know who was not delivering his mail correctly. The victims told the suspect to leave and the suspect responded that he would get a gun and would shoot at the person who had been handling his mail incorrectly. The suspect then left the area.  

Assault

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim stated that he had been sitting, at a pizza restaurant, with his eyes closed when the suspect approached him and asked why he was a sleeping. The victim responded by asking the suspect why he was talking to him. The suspect angrily stood up and punched the victim which started a fight inside the restaurant. Shortly after, the suspect then entered a vehicle and drove away. 

Car Jacking – Battery

Terrace Dr & Santa Clara Ave
Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim reported that she had been driving the suspect, her friend, home after they had been out drinking. During the drive, the suspect asked the victim to enter into a serious relationship with him. The victim replied that she was not ready to do so at that time. The suspect responded angrily and put the vehicle in park while she was still driving, grabbed the key and threatened to kill the victim. The victim fearfully exited the vehicle and the suspect drove away.
